Ok, Salon is playing with cookies/JS? That's just my guess. I rewrote the Salon Premium Pass so instead of spoofing cookies I follow their click path.

Ok, this was fun to figure out. FoxNews.com has gone to flash video so I had to figure out how to interact with flash from JS.

Salon Premium Pass update

I updated the Salon Premimum Pass user script. There is a case where their JS will mark your cookie bad. I test for the bad cookie and reset it.

Greasemonkey -- Salon.com Ad Remover

Removes the story body inline ad.

The Salon script has been update to reflect the change in their Javascript. It's working now.
